Monty Franklin is a Melbourne based stand-up comedian performing in hundreds of shows all over the country from outback mining camps in WA, to sporting clubs and the biggest comedy clubs in all major cities.

Monty’s numerous television performances include including Foxtel’s Stand Up Australia, and as part of The Comedy Channel’s special – The Best Of Stand Up and Comedy Gold. He Performing sold out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2005, 2006 and 2007 he received wide recognition and praise for his shows Monty McFly and Eyecandy.

The winner of The Comic’s Lounge Stand-up Competition 2006 and the Melbourne winner and national finalist of The Green Faces Comedy Competition most recently appearing in channel 9’s Underbelly. Winning first prize from hundreds of participants in the 2005 Tourism Australia Mpeg Promotions Competition Monty is one of the brightest rising starts of comedy in Australia today. In one of his last shows in Australia before basing himself in LA get down here to witness the Melbourne magic yourself.
