SEAN WOODLAND – Father of two Sean Woodland began performing stand-up comedy at age 40. In his first two years he either won or placed in numerous Australian comedy competitions including Green Faces, Quest for the Best and the RAW NSW State Final. Since then he has forged his dream career, captivating audiences around Australia and abroad, with his ‘everyman’ appeal always a winning formula. Sean’s material is endearingly relevant as he tells comical truths from his own, varied experiences whilst also drawing on a barrage of observational funnies that are befitting of his irreverent and curious persona. Not limited to the stage Sean performs in sketch comedy, is a regularly published freelance writer and is the author of two novels.

“FOUR STARS Has more than the average number of laughs up his sleeve…Do Woodland and yourself a favour and get along.”   The Adelaide Advertiser

“His understated punchlines and observations will resonate for a long time” RipitUp

Tim Sheens on Sean – “He made Wayne Bennett piss himself the entire show and that’s bloody hard to do”

It’s hard to believe Melanie Bracewell is only 21 years old. She started comedy in 2014 as the winner of the 7 Days Comedy Apprentice competition and continued impressing audiences to win the 2015 Raw Comedy Quest. Since then, she has been in hot demand, performing at events including Rhythm and

Vines, the Comedy Festival Gala filmed live for Three and in 2017 won the prestigious “Best Newcomer” award for her first solo show in the NZ International Comedy Festival. With goofy observations and natural stage charisma, Melanie is a master of anecdotes. In 2016, Melanie was nominated for ‘Best Female Comedian’ in the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards. When she’s not on stage, Melanie is a social media powerhouse. Whether it’s through her popular humour blog with over 250,000 followers, meladoodle.com, or desperately trying to get her jokes down to 140 characters for her slightly less popular Twitter profile, @meladoodle. Melanie’s twitter account won ‘Best Twitter’ in the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards, and her tweets have been featured on Buzzfeed, Playboy (the funny parts not the nude parts), and the New York Times. Melanie is now a regular panellist on Three’s hit

show ‘7 Days’ and works as a full time comedy writer for The Project.
