Daniel Connell – You might have seen him on the Melbounre international Comedy Festival Televised Gala this year. He could easily be described as the ideal Aussie comedian; affable, loveable and hilarious. His observational, warm, sometimes cheeky comedy has seen him take to stages all over the country.
Daniel first launched himself into the comedy world’s face in 2009 in Canberra’s Green Faces emerging comedian competition, winning the Canberra heat and placing third in the national final.
Daniel became a regular on the Canberra scene, performing in comedy-loving venues like the Civic Pub Comedy Club and The Phoenix Pub and became a regular on the 96.7 Queanbeyan FM Friday Night Sports Show.
His debut in the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival was in the sell-out ACT showcase show Capital Punishment. He returned to the 2011 festival after being hand-picked by the festival to feature in The Comedy Zone, a platform for emerging comics on their way up.
In 2012 he debuted his first solo stand-up show, “Likeable Enough” at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Daniel returned to the MICF in 2013, as well as debuting at Adelaide Fringe and the Canberra Comedy Festival, with his second solo show “Mr Personality 1988″.
In 2015, Daniel will be bringing his new show “The Get Out Stakes”, to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Perth Fringe Festival and The Canberra Comedy Festival.
One of the most active comedians in the country, Daniel can be seen sharing a stage with comedians like Jimeoin, Glenn Robbins, Denise Scott and Dave Hughes.

And Justin Hamilton – Justin has carved out an incredibly successful career as a stand up comedian and writer while maintaining his unique voice within the Australian Comedy scene.
Winner of the prestigious Melbourne international COmedy Festival Piece of Wood Award, as well of The Brian McCarthy Moosehead Memorial Award Festival Director’s Award – The of the biggest awards for Comedy in the world… to top that off In 2011, The Arts Monthly announced that Justin was the Comedian of the Decade. To that end, Tim Ferguson wrote: “Hamilton’s shows eschew traditional structures and standard subject matter. His work consistently challenges his audiences, asking important questions about history, truth, death and identity. It reveals a razor-sharp intellect and fearless questing heart. His humour is dangerous, offering perspectives that can be frightening in scope and intent.”
2010 saw Justin return to what he does best with his stand up show “Idiot Man Child” touring all over Australia in the first half of the year. Justin has not only sold out numerous solo seasons at the Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne Comedy Festival but also won awards and nominations to go along with them. He won the 2007 Melbourne Comedy Festival Director’s Award for his show “Three Colours Hammo”, a show that also won the Adelaide Advertiser’s best show award at the 2008 Adelaide Fringe. His 2008 stand up comedy show “The Killing Joke” was nominated for best show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival that year.
