With Simon Rogers is Melbourne’s Master of live comedy, a TheatreSports legend and M.C. extraordinaire. He is Australia’s most experienced comedy compere having hosted over 3,000 shows from sold out performances at the Arts Centre to rowdy Buck’s nights in Comedy Clubs. He is well known as an ABC announcer and after Black Saturday produced & presented a morning show for Kinglake Ranges Radio – an ABC station set up in Kinglake after the fires that helped bind the community back together, for which he won a coveted Walkley Award.

Simon has just finished a run of live gigs at the Comics Lounge and the Comedy Club in Melbourne. He’s done stand-up at New York’s famed Improv Club and throughout Asia. He has appeared in countless television dramas, ads, comedies and radio programmes & lots of corporate gigs as a different character written for that event.
He’s hosted high profile events such as International TheatreSports, the AFI Awards, the St. Kilda Film Festival, “A Night with Monty Python’s Terry Jones”, ACS Awards nights and the Sydney 2000 Olympics Torch Relay – performing to over half a million people across Australia.
Simon has written a television comedy starring Julia Zemiro, Kym Gyngell & Cal Wilson & has just finished filming the pilot for SBS. He has also developed a one hour comedy-drama that is in pre-production.
