Steve-Philp
Happy Endings loves a whipped up audience and these three will have you out of your chairs. An incredible line up of talent and crisp delivery. Simon-Kennedy-31

Steve Philp – Tropfest MC 8 years running (2004 -2011)! One of Australia’s busiest comedians and with good reason. Performing on literally every Radio station in the country, Steve can now be seen every week on tele as the new sidekick comedian on the “NRL Footy Show”.

Steve was the co-host of ACRA award nominated Saturday morning Breakfast show “Kennedy and Philp” on Nova 969 for 5 years. And was selected as one of only a handful of Australian comedians to travel to Miami and compete in NBC’s top rating show “Last Comic Standing” in which he made the finals and got to perform to an American TV audience of well over 2 million people.

A world class comedian and a crowd favourite at Happy Endings.

Supported by Simon Kennedy– The man behind the voice! Able to replicate the sounds of any person and one of the best acts in the country. Ranked No1 Australian MySpace comedian. And for 4 years Simon hosted The Show With No Name on Sydney’s Nova 96.9fm with fellow comedian Steve Philp. The two then went on to host Kennedy & Philp for a further two years, Sydney Nova’s Saturday morning Breakfast Show. Simon has picked up a few awards for some unknown reason too; Australian Commercial Radio Industry Award (‘ACRA’) for Best Comedy Segment (1998) and Best Radio Production (2004), and again in 2006 Simon is a finalist for Best Comedy Segment.

And Rhys Nicholson – shot to obscurity in 2009 when he was on ABC TV for 5 minutes at 9.30pm on a Tuesday night as a Grand Finalist in Triple J’s Raw Comedy. He has since auditioned and been rejected from several TV programs including being asked to leave after swearing at a screen test for the children’s channel ABC 3. Rhys’ Wikipedia pages sums his comedy up as “a series of terrifying events”. A regular the Sydney Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and MICF. Rhys has supported , international superstars, Jim Jefferies, Glen Wool(Can), Alonzo Bodden(USA) and Mitch Fatel (USA)
