And Emma Zammit – Emma was forced to begin a standup comedy career in early 2008 after her sister decided it was time to move her MC Hammer moves and one liners out of the lounge room and enrolled her in a stand up comedy writing course for the sake of family harmony. After graduation, she was inspired to work the hard yards and tighten her comedy antics on Sydney’s open mic stages.

She has since won the prestigious “Quest for the Best” new comedy talent search as well as performed in the NSW state finals for “Raw Comedy”.

Emma was chosen from amongst the best new acts in the country to perform in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s “ Comedy Zone”. Emma then went on to perform in Queensland as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

Emma showcased her first solo show “My Emmoirs: A Tale of Two Cities” at the Wild West Perth Comedy Festival which was nominated for the “People’s Choice Award”.

“Emma Zammit did an excellent job of keeping the audience bemused….her delivery and comic timing was spot on” – Australian Stage
